Michael Fisher Announces His Retirement as CEO of Cincinnati Children’s- Michael Fisher, president and chief executive officer (CEO), announced that he will retire as Cincinnati Children’s CEO. He plans to continue his role here until a successor is onboarded, which is expected by the end of 2021.

100th Anniversary of the B.K. Rachford Department of Pediatrics Cincinnati Children’s: Honoring our Past to Build our Future - As one of the nation’s leading pediatric research and teaching institutions, Cincinnati Children’s is proud to celebrate its partnership with the University of Cincinnati and honor 100 years of breakthrough scientific discoveries and advancements. Various events will be held in celebration on Tuesday, June 8.

Critical Care Building Updates - The Critical Care Building at Cincinnati Children’s is on track to open for patients this November.  Updates including photos, timelines and preliminary videos can be viewed HERE.  Look for more specifics each month in Synapse regarding opening events, tours, features and functions of the new space.

Healthvine …Did you know???? - Healthvine is a network of pediatric providers and organizations backed by Cincinnati Children’s. The network continues to grow and evolve.

The ADHD Summer Treatment Program is back! - The Center for ADHD at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital again will be providing our evidence-based award-winning ADHD Summer Treatment Program (STP) for the 6th year! This program directly targets difficulties commonly experienced by children with ADHD in a camp-like setting.

Five New Neurologists Join Faculty - The Division of Neurology recently welcomed to its faculty five neurologists, whose wide-ranging interests include neurogenetic epilepsy, neuroinflammatory diseases, medical ketogenic diets and tuberous sclerosis.
