A Message from Dr. Richard Falcone: Executive Community Physician Leader Opportunity
Hello Clinical Colleagues,
I am writing to inform you that Shelly Voet, MD, our Executive Community Physician Leader, has decided to step away from her role effective Dec 31st. Dr. Voet made this decision so she can devote her full attention to her private practice, Pediatric Associates, PSC, and pursue leadership opportunities there.
Dr Voet has led the Community Practice Advisory Council for the past 5+ years. Her contributions have positively impacted the relationship and communications between Cincinnati Children’s and local practices. I am grateful for her dedication, hard work, and the positive impact she made on Cincinnati Children’s and community pediatricians.
As we prepare to bid farewell to Shelly, we are also beginning the search for a suitable candidate to fill this important role. I want to encourage all interested pediatricians to apply for the position. Preferred candidates should have:
Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO) degree
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in private practice
Cincinnati Children’s Medical Staff Member (Community Associate)
A willingness to serve in the role for at least 2 years
You can find more detail on the scope of work for this role HERE. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to ongoing collaborations between Cincinnati Children’s and community pediatricians. To apply, please email your CV and letter of interest to Rich Falcone, MD or Aimee Gardner by September 2, 2024. If you have specific questions about the role you are welcome to email Shelly Voet, MD.
Thanks,
Rich
