Cincinnati Children’s Neighborhood Updates
The lab clinical laboratory at Fairfield closed permanently on July 1. In the Northern/West Region, please direct patients needing outpatient lab services to the Liberty Campus or Green Township.
An Endocrinology clinic has been added at Fairfield (every Monday, every other Tuesday), and Dermatology is now seeing patients at Green Township (every Monday and Tuesday). The PATS clinic (Penicillin Allergy Testing Service) will be added to both Fairfield and Green Township in August.
The Mason Urgent Care is re-opening on September 3rd! (the day after Labor Day). Their hours will be the same as they were prior to closing.
Pediatric Surgeon Dr. Nelson Rosen has evening clinics (1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 4-8pm) at Mason. The evening clinic is designed to give your patients flexibility with school and parents flexibility with work commitments. The evening clinics are in addition to those offered at the Liberty Campus during regular business hours. Dr. Rosen’s clinic will provide general pediatric surgery services for new visits, follow-ups, and post-ops, including the following visit types and reasons:
Hernias
Skin cysts, lumps and bumps
Acute/chronic abdominal pain
Gallbladder issues
Postoperative follow-up and concerns after surgery
Congenital malformations
Gastrostomy issues
Speech-Language Therapy reminder: When referring for a speech-language evaluation, please simultaneously place a referral to audiology to rule out hearing loss as a contributing factor.
