Every Child Succeeds - Committed to ensuring every baby born in Greater Cincinnati has the opportunity to thrive
Every Child Succeeds (ECS) was founded in 1999 to support mothers and young children in Greater Cincinnati during the most critical years of development – birth to age three. This evidence-based, ongoing home visiting program supports parents in becoming the best parents they can be. The program has built relationships with more than 27,000 families in Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky changing families’ trajectories.
ECS professional home visitors serve low-income families (<200% of poverty level) in Butler, Clermont, and Hamilton counties in Southwest Ohio; Boone, Campbell, Grant, and Kenton counties in Northern Kentucky. Services provided include:
Offering support and education for new parents
Providing trusted information about children's growth and development
Connecting families to community resources and provide free monthly books
Helping with goal setting for mom and baby to succeed
More information on how to refer Ohio families can be found here; Northern Kentucky information can be found here.
First Connect Ohio
First Connect Ohio (FCO) is a new program collaboration between Every Child Succeeds, Help Me Grow, and First Connect International that is now available to Ohio families. This service provides an in-home visit from a nurse who will offer support, guidance, and connections to additional resources at no cost. Locally, this visit is available to Hamilton County residents. The program is initially available in 11 Ohio counties (Hamilton, Huron, Erie, Darke, Fayette, Greene, Shelby, Mahoning, Trumbull, Noble, and Guernsey). More information on the Hamilton County program can be found here.
