Cincinnati Children’s has remarkable presence at Pediatric Academic Society annual meeting

Faculty and staff from Cincinnati Children’s attended the annual Pediatric Academic Society (PAS) meeting held April 21-25 in Denver, CO. At this year’s PAS, there was an extensive presence of presentations from Cincinnati Children’s faculty and staff in the form of platform presentations, posters, speeches and workshops. Additionally, two faculty and one resident were honored with awards from the PAS.  Robert Kahn, MD, MPH received the Public Policy and Advocacy Award.  Shipra Jain, MD received the Rowe Award in Clinical Research.  The House Officer Research award was presented to Melissa Day, MD.

Eighteen faculty members represented Cincinnati Children’s in the exhibit booth by sharing their expertise and building relationships with over 350 conference attendees during exhibit hours. Cincinnati Children’s hosted the annual Alumni and Friends Reception on Saturday, April 23. An enthusiastic crowd of 150+ Cincinnati Children’s alumni, staff and former employees were present. The evening was hosted by Tina Cheng, MD and Tom DeWitt, MD.
