The “Take a Shot at COVID” toolkit for pediatric providers is growing. Check out the latest collection on the Provider Covid site.
Fact sheets that supplement your motivational interviewing with patients are now available for download. This allows providers to tailor discussions according to the individual issues/ages of the patient. There will be few situations where all of the fact sheets will be needed with each patient, and many may be convinced to be vaccinated after discussion of the key points in one of the sheets.
Two of three videos are also available for use with families. These can easily be shared by connecting to the links from the provider website, or sharing the links for families to view on their own.
Much more is being developed to assist you in getting the children and teens in our region vaccinated, so “Take a Shot at COVID”!
