Teen Online Problem Solving (TOPS) Program

The Teen Online Problem-Solving program (TOPS) offers an evidence-based resource to help families of adolescents with traumatic/acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions navigate challenges with executive functioning, emotion-regulation, communication and social relationships using a 5-step problem-solving process. CCHMC is offering the 10-session, online program as a self-guided resource for youth and families at no cost. The TOPS program was identified as a practice standard for executive functioning, externalizing behaviors, and family concerns following TBI in recent evidence-based guidelines, and has recently been expanded to stroke, anoxic injuries, pediatric brain tumor survivors, epilepsy, MS/demyelinating conditions and more.

If you have questions about the appropriateness of the self-guided program for a patient or family or would like to discuss having your patient do the program with a therapist please email cherish.heard@cchmc.org. Additional information about the program can be found at TOPS4ALL.com
