Clinic Spotlight - Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) clinic and the Hemophilia and Bleeding Disorders program

Developmental coordination disorder (DCD) is an often under-recognized pediatric disorder.  The Division of Occupational Therapy & Physical Therapy ay Cincinnati Children’s has developed a targeted program to aid in identification of children with DCD and triage them into appropriate evidence-based interventions. One program OT/PT is currently piloting is CO-OP club, which utilizes a cognitive treatment approach in a fun club setting with peers to address motor planning problems associated with DCD.  If interested in learning more about DCD or CO-OP club, please contact OTPTTRACKDCD@cchmc.org Referrals can be faxed to (513)803-1111.

The Hemophilia and Bleeding Disorders program is expanding care to Oxford, Ohio. New and existing patients ages 21 and younger can be seen out our biannual clinic at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital. The next clinic date will be October 26th, 2022.
