Ohio Medicaid Updates: Redetermination - To support members ahead of upcoming Ohio Medicaid eligibility updates that will require redetermination when the PHE expires, help ensure their contact information is up to date. Below are three ways members can update their information:
Call (844) 640-6446. After selecting the option for their preferred language, they should select option 2 and will be prompted to enter their zip code
Individuals with an existing Self-Service Portal (SSP) account can report changes online at https://ssp.benefits.ohio.gov. After logging in, click the Access my Benefits tile, then click Report a Change to my Case from the drop down and follow the prompts
Contact their County Department of Job and Family Services (CDJFS). Ohio Medicaid members can find their CDJFS on the County Directory https://jfs.ohio.gov/County/County_Directory.stm
While it is expected that there will be an extension of the PHE that is set to expire on July 15th, we don’t know the actual date of that extension. October has been suggested as a potential timeline. When the PHE ends families on Medicaid will need to go through a re-determination process for eligibility.
HealthVine COVID-19 Update: COVID-19 Vaccinations & Incentive Program Reminder - As a reminder, the Ohio Department of Medicaid has extended its COVID-19 vaccine initiative for all eligible children 5-17 years of age through June 30,, 2022. A $100 gift card will be given to all members 5-17 years of age who receive their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination between now and June 30, 2022. HealthVine members can complete an online form to claim their incentive by visiting https://caresource.myvaccinecare.com/. Providers are eligible for $100 incentives for first, second, and booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered in clinic.
