Referral Pause for Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders

Our specialists in Genetics are managing a very high volume of patient referrals with Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders, including Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and staffing for this diagnosis is currently down. No new referrals for this program will be available for the next several months. The attached resources can be used to guide and counsel patients for whom hypermobility is a concern. The Community Practice Support Tool provides more specific guidance for providers. Additionally, please access the links below for additional support.  We will provide updates and additional options in the Weekly Vitals and upcoming editions of Synapse. The providers at Cincinnati Children’s appreciate your support and patience as we work to address this.
