Cincinnati recently lost two tand dedicated members of the pediatric medicine community - Drs. Ellen Norby and Theodore Stryker.

Ellen Heinrichs Norby, MD passed on October 18, 2021. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 36 years, Conrad, and her three loved and treasured children. She received her medical doctorate from the University of Minnesota in 1987, and completed her pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children’s in 1990. Ellen happily devoted her life to pediatrics. For over thirty years, she tirelessly worked with Queen City Physicians to make sure the lives of her young patients carried on in happiness and health during many of the most important periods in their early lives. To the very end, even as she privately battled stage four cancer, she happily continued to work, still considering her young patients’ health and wellbeing to be of prime importance.
