Center for ADHD Expands Offerings to Help Young Children with Behavior Challenges
Back to school often means an increase in ADHD evaluations, and The Center for ADHD has expanded their group therapy options to help with access and treatment.
For the youngest of patients who are demonstrating behavior challenges, The Center for ADHD requests all referrals for children under the age of 5 to be referred first to group therapy entitled “Understanding and Managing ADHD in Young Children”. These children do not need an ADHD diagnosis to attend.
This eight week, evidence-based program provides parents with an up-to-date understanding of child behavior and developmental norms, as well as how to use specific evidence-based strategies to give their young child the structure and guidance they need to succeed both at home and in day care, preschool, or kindergarten.
There also are many group-based clinical services for children over 5. A complete schedule can be found here.
To make a referral to any of the group therapy programs, please send a referral to the Center for ADHD. Providers or parents also can call our Intake line at 513-636-4336.
More information on all the services offered by the Center for ADHD can be found here.
