Cincinnati Children’s Centerville Set To Open March 6 - Monday, March 6 is the first day that patients will be seen at our new Centerville medical building. Patient appointments can be scheduled online or by phone starting Jan. 23.

Adolescent and Transition Medicine - Care of adolescents continues to be challenging, and the Division of Adolescent and Transition Medicine is evolving to meet these challenges.

Mental Health Resource Update - With mental health of children an ever increasing focus we will continue to seek resources and help for providers.  Several new resources are available for providers and families.

An Introduction from Dr. Abby Stein, New Medical Executive Committee Member - Abby Stein, MD is a community pediatrician with Group Health Associates Western Hills. She has recently joined the Medical Executive committee at Cincinnati Children’s.

Clinic Spotlight- The Advanced Nutrition Center - The Advanced Nutrition Program is one of few in the country that provides focused, personalized care for children with complicated conditions that affect their nutrition. This can include: total parenteral nutrition (TPN), feeding tubes, malnourishment, isolated nutritional deficiencies, pre-transplant or surgical care, nausea, food allergies or critical illness. Our multi-disciplinary team led by pediatric gastroenterologists with expertise in pediatric nutrition develop personalized treatment plans based on each child’s nutritional challenges.

Test Referral Centers – Did you Know? - Did you know that the Test Referral Centers located at Eastgate and Kenwood provide specimen collection sites ONLY?  Neither site is equipped to run testing.  If you need a result quickly, please consider using a Neighborhood location that can provide collection and testing services.   

Referral Corner - A reminder from the Pulmonary Lab - when possible please utilize the Diagnostic Testing form (located on our website’s referral page or in hard copy it is the pink referral pad) when ordering Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs). This ensures we have the complete information we need to most efficiently process your order. If you have questions or need paper copies of the form, please contact your physician liaison.
