Project Echo - Behavioral Mental Health 2022 Offerings - Behavioral and mental health concerns amongst children and adolescents continue to increase in prevalence while there is a critical shortage of specialists who can provide adequate treatment. Cincinnati Children’s Project ECHO (Extension for Community Care Outcomes) uses a guided-practice model that aims to improve patient access to care by training community pediatric providers to independently treat mild to moderate behavioral and mental health concerns in their own practices. This innovative tele-mentoring and case-based learning approach has proven to be successful, amplifying both provider knowledge and self-efficacy upon course completion. Learning is supported by psychologists, psychiatrists and primary care provider peers. Full Calendar
