Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (DDBP) Access Update - Effective September 20, the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (DDBP) is temporarily unable to accept new referrals for children 6-12 years old.

Make Sure Your Practice has Transitioned to CliniSync – Action Required - If you receive or send electronic results from local hospitals, please make sure you have signed an agreement with CliniSync and watched the required webinar. CliniSync will be replacing Healthbridge later this year, and the process of transitioning to CliniSync is not automatic.

Update for Providers on Nirsevimab (Beyfortus) – Questions surrounding the use, availability, best practices for the new monoclonal antibody Nirsevimab (Beyfortus) continue. Read more about clinical recommendations and reimbursement information.

Clinical Update – EKG Testing Now Scheduled - We are adjusting how EKG testing is requested and performed at our neighborhood locations.  Effective Oct 1, 2023, EKG referrals will become a scheduled test and align with the general referral processes. 

Come and Visit Your Patients - Very few community providers still round on their inpatients today. However, Cincinnati Children’s welcomes any community PCP that would like to visit their patients while at the medical center.

Respiratory Safety Precautions - Updated Masking Policy for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital - As of 9/25, Cincinnati Children’s elevated the Masking/Safety precautions to Heightened (patient/public facing). This means Cincinnati Children’s staff will be masking in all patient and public facing areas. Families will be encouraged but not required to mask.

Cincinnati Children’s Integrated Behavioral Health – Partner With Us Today - Demand for pediatric behavioral health services is at an all-time high, and access is more challenging than ever. Cincinnati Children’s Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) program is here to help aid in prevention, early intervention, and timely access to effective, evidence-based behavioral health treatment.

Department of Pulmonology Seeking Provider Input on Cystic Fibrosis Study - The Cincinnati Children’s Department of Pulmonology is inviting you to complete a survey to assess your index of suspicion for cystic fibrosis (CF) in a variety of patient populations. This will help them target future educational interventions for outpatient pediatricians regarding CF diagnosis to minimize time to CF diagnosis for all patients. Breastfeeding Clinic Now Seeing Patients at Liberty Campus - Liberty joins the Main Campus, Green Township, Mason and Northern Kentucky to offer breastfeeding medicine support to mothers and babies. Dr. Sarah Lawler, a general pediatrician and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, will see patients on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
