Update Regarding Transgender Care at Cincinnati Children’s - On January 24, the Ohio General Assembly overrode Governor DeWine’s veto of House Bill 68. The law will go into effect in late April and Cincinnati Children’s will follow all requirements.

New Autism and Developmental Disorders Education Opportunities - The Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (DDBP) is offering two intensive educational opportunities for primary care providers wanting to expand their skill in treating patients with developmental and behavioral Disorders.

Provider Update on CareSource Pre-Authorizations for Cincinnati Children’s HealthVine Members- Beginning March 11, 2024, all electronic prior authorizations and supporting documents for Cincinnati Children’s HealthVine members that were submitted via the CareSource portal will have to be entered via Epic Tapestry Link, via the Cincinnati Children’s HealthVine portal. This new process will provide an easy to use, integrated system for processing requests. While phone and fax options are still available, we strongly recommend using Epic Tapestry Link. Study Confirms Fears that COVID Pandemic Reduced Kindergarten Readiness - Numerous studies have raised alarms about how the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted learning, development and mental health among school-aged children. But few have focused on the effects felt by the 22 million children under age 6 who were not yet in school.
