Critical Care Building - New PICU Will Improve Efficiency and Enhance Patient and Family Experience; Provider Open House September 24 - When the new Critical Care Building PICU opens on November 6, it will increase the number of beds from 35 to 48 and have larger rooms, improved equipment and additional space on the unit for families to take care of their basic needs.

NICU Admission Trend - A Helpful Reminder from Neonatology - During Covid, we observed that moms and babies were being discharged earlier from delivery hospitals. By the end of May, there was a noticeable increase in readmissions to the Neonatal Unit.

All in for Pool Safety - The SWIM Program - As swimming pools throughout the city begin opening for the summer, Cincinnati Children’s is partnering with three local organizations to help safeguard local kids.
