Speech Language Pathology Access Update - The Division of Speech-Language Pathology is experiencing a heavy volume of referrals for services offered by the division. Work is underway to identify strategies that will increase our ability to provide services to more children and families.

Ehlers-Danlos/Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders Clinic - Temporarily Closed to New Referrals - Although the CCHMC Hypermobility Clinic is closed to new referrals due to a planned retirement, OT/PT is still taking referrals for joint stability and strengthening for hyper mobile patients. We are actively recruiting and in the interim, we have compiled a resource list including recent podcasts on the topic.  

Urology Prerequisite Testing for New Visits - The Division of Urology has developed a comprehensive list of prerequisite testing needed for new visits. You can find the list here.

  • Newborn Hearing Screening

  • Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis to Prevent HIV (available now in app, available 5/30 in Provider Hub)

Marc Rothenberg Earns UC College of Medicine’s Top Award - In April, Rothenberg was recognized for his extraordinary work by receiving the prestigious Daniel Drake Medal, the highest honor awarded by the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Read more in this month’s issue of Inspire.

Impactful Connections at the 2023 Pediatric Academic Societies Meeting - This year nearly 600 attendees visited and collaborated with our faculty at the Cincinnati Children’s exhibit booth at Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) meeting.

Healthvine Update - The HealthVine team will be on the road attending and promoting a variety of community events. We look forward to connecting with members and partners in the community to share helpful information about HealthVine services and supports.
