Cincinnati Children’s AAP NCE 2023 Highlights - The American Academy of Pediatrics National Conference and Exhibition took place in Washington, D.C. from October 20-24. With nearly 30 faculty presenting or at podium, Cincinnati Children’s had a strong presence this year.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Available Now - Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) can be utilized for children with moderate to severe symptoms who do not need 24/7 hospitalization. Currently, the program has only a 1-2 day wait for appointments. The goal of PHP is to help children and teens learn how to better manage school anxiety, emotions, behavior problems, and issues related to mental illness. Referrals can be made using the PHP referral form. Information on Admission and Exclusion criteria can be found here.
In Memoriam - Elizabeth (Lisa) Kelley - Dr. Elisabeth “Lisa” Kelly, a pediatrician with Cincinnati Children’s Primary Care - Children’s Health Care of Batesville and Greensburg, passed away unexpectedly on September 30. We are sharing memories from her partners and patients.

Hematology-Gynecology Clinic: The Young Women with Bleeding Disorders Clinic - Adolescent girls in your practice who may need further evaluation of abnormal bleeding can be referred to the Young Women with Bleeding Disorders Clinic. This clinic offers pediatric gynecology and hematology services together. Patients 18 years old and younger can be referred. A recently developed Clinical Practice Support tool on Heavy Menstral Bleeding is also available for reference. For more information and to schedule an appointment call: 513-517-CBDI (2234).
