Opportunity to Take Action on HB 454 - The Ohio House of Representatives has introduced HB454 hb454_00_IN (state.oh.us). This bill would greatly impact the care that Ohio Children’s Hospitals deliver in Adolescent Medicine and Endocrinology divisions for patients diagnosed with gender dysphoria.

Abbott Formula Recall - Updates and Resources - The Abbott formula recall has created shortages, concerns, and stress for families in search of baby formula.  The following two resources may help you to assist patients with questions and concerns: Q&A resource created by the AAP and a substitution guide created by NASPGHAN (Ped GI specialists).

Referral Pause for Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders - Our specialists in Genetics are managing a very high volume of patient referrals with Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders, including Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and staffing for this diagnosis is currently down.

Urgent Care Schedule Reminder - Green Township Urgent Care - Green Township Urgent Care is seeing an increase of patients coming in throughout the day unaware that it does not open until 6 pm. Many of the patients have “nice weather injuries”; broken bones, stitches, etc. Please help us communicate that Green Township Urgent Care does not open until 6 pm to avoid frustration, especially as we ramp up for summer accidents and injuries.
